Engineering the “Free-Wheel” Architecture
1. Internal vs. External Clutch
Traditional mowers use an external free-wheel clutch mounted on the PTO cardan shaft. However, this adds length, vibration, and cost. EVER-POWER integrates the clutch inside the gearbox input shaft. This “Internal RL” design keeps the center of gravity closer to the machine frame, reducing cantilever stress and vibration. It also protects the delicate sprag mechanism from dust and rain inside the oil-sealed housing.
2. High-Speed Output Shaft Stability
The output shaft drives the belt pulley at speeds over 2000 RPM. Any runout or imbalance at this speed destroys belts instantly. We use Through-Hardened 40Cr Steel shafts, precision ground to h6 tolerance.
