1. Can I shift gears while under load?
HAYIR. The shifting mechanism is a mechanical dog clutch. You must stop the PTO rotation completely before changing direction. Shifting while rotating will grind the gears and can snap the shift fork. Always bring the machine to a halt and idle the engine before shifting.
2. Does it have a neutral position?
Yes. The shift pattern is typically Forward – Neutral – Reverse. The Neutral position is very useful for testing the tractor PTO or transporting the machine without the rotor spinning, adding an extra layer of safety.
3. Is the torque output the same in both directions?
