Engineering the “Free Wheel” Safety
1. 惯性问题
A flail rotor equipped with 40 heavy steel hammers spinning at 2,000 RPM has tremendous kinetic energy. When the tractor operator disengages the PTO or throttles down, the rotor wants to keep spinning. If connected rigidly, this energy would back-drive the gearbox and push the tractor forward, potentially causing accidents or destroying the PTO brake. This is why the “Free Wheel” (Roda Livre) is mandatory.
2. 内置式离合器与外置式离合器
