3. Duo-Cone Seals for Submerged Operation
The lower bearing housing of the side drive operates below the soil line, effectively submerged in abrasive dirt. Conventional rubber seals groove the shaft within weeks. We install Duo-Cone (Floating Face) Seals on the output hub. Sugarcane Ridging (Sulcos)
Sugarcane is planted in deep furrows. The cultivator must reshape these ridges while mechanically weeding the sides. The High-Clearance Side Drive allows the row unit to straddle the tall ridge without the gearbox dragging on the soil, preserving the ridge shape and reducing fuel consumption.
